My interest in photography started when I was a little girl. My parents started their
photography business after years of working in occupations other than photography. They
decided that they were going to do something that made them truly happy.
After the many years of watching them take photographs, I became intrigued and wondered
how they achieved that final image, so I became their assistant to learn what photography
was all about.
From working with my parents, I made the decision that photography was the occupation I
desired to devote my life to, for to capture an image and evoke an emotion - this truly makes
me happy.
In my work I like to convey a feeling or evoke an emotion. Whether the emotion be joyful or
sad, I want it to be seen and felt when looking at my images. I enjoy using colors to bring
out these feelings, either vibrant or dark. A lot of my inspirations come from things that have
hit close to home in my life because I become more passionate about what I’m trying to
portray.
The one thing I hope you perceive from looking at my photographs is that they cause you to
experience an emotion..............
